Aim and Purpose of the Seminar

January 26, 2004

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

The Aim and purpose of the seminar was to be able to renew and awaken in us the Sacred Impulses of Hope, Acceptance, Faith and Love, represented by each of the 4 Prophets. We practiced the 4 Prophets Movements and the Morning exercise that relates to them in our tradition.

There were four main groups and each was responsible of presenting to the rest of the group one of the 4 Prophets and the Holy City associated with it.

Mecca with Mohamed, Benares with Buddha, Lassa with Lama, and Jerusalem with Christ. Each participant choused, before the beginning of the seminar, a particular city and the corresponding Prophet. They arranged, organized and coordinated their exposition in their corresponding group so that they could share with the rest the fruits of their labors.

Each group employed different means in their expositions, pictures, movies, recordings of various kinds and talks in order to present as many details as possible of the Holy places as well as the history and biography of the Prophets.

The morning exercise, the movement, and the expositions were hand in hand and each day seemed like the whole community added a new understanding. They were like pieces in a puzzle and as the days went by, the whole picture became more and more clear, bringing the group closer together under one Aim with the increasing certainty that we were not separated individuals each pulling his own way. As the common bondage grew stronger, we also felt that there is also the possibility of receiving Help from Above in order to overcome our ordinary obstacles in life.

There were seven small groups and each one was responsible of working with a theme and to provide the rest of the group with the exposition and the daily exercise. Each member contributed based on his or her own understanding. No doubt we can share much more that we are usually willing to. For some people knowledge means power and they feel more secure by keeping what they know to themselves. But we must learn that by sharing what we know we are creating a vacuum whereby it is possible that new and fresh understanding enter into us. The old knowledge can become stale in time, so it is much better to share than to keep.

We have received such a vast amount of techniques, exercises, movements and knowledge that we must feel responsible to spread and share it with others; there is a great need in the world to bring about transformation in people. The secret can no longer be kept secret, we have to affect others in a positive way, we have to become normal humans beings again. But we insist in keeping and restricting those who can access it by becoming judges and custodians then we begin to determine who can and who can not receive it. Mr. G said plainly that the knowledge is there to take but that people do not want it. We must become like planters and where the seed falls does not concern us, we can be sure that some will fall in good soil and will bring forth fruit.
