When we perform the 40 movements of the hymn to the sun we are actualizing
through our gestures the internal ritual of our own spring. It is very
important that during the performance of this movement part of our attention
should be in the music another part in the body, and another part evoking a
strong wish for internal transformation.
The
Work represents for us the heat, if we are able to take it in, it can
produce the seed of Transformation.
The
Sun rise of the first day of spring can touch us in a different way;
Mrs. Pogsson said:
“The
Crucifixion has to be connected with the time of the Vernal Equinox
and the Jewish Passover; at this time there is the force to connect with.
Then those who were saved by the blood of the lamb are now saved by the
blood of Christ. There has to be this correspondence. And why the full moon?
This is a time for fulfillment. The time of secret initiations, for
beginning something new, was the time of the new moon. But festivals were
celebrated at full moon, when everything could come to its full
development.”
